Queso & Chips
White American Cheese
heavy whipping cream
I use fresh salsa
diced green peppers
cooking oil for frying
salt for seasoning
In a saucepan, warm the cream until it is pretty warm, add white American cheese slices and stir until melted.
If you prefer your queso thinner, add more cream.
Add salsa or green chilies and stir until well combined
Heat the oil until hot.
Cut the corn tortillas in 6ths, and fry until golden.
Put on some paper towels, and salt while still hot. Let them sit on paper towels until cooled and set on serving dish with Queso.
